Sturgis Missions Outreach

You are Invited!

YES, you are cordially invited to participate in in the Sturgis, SD Missions trip August 4th to 10th.

 How can you participate?

We need three things.
(1) Finances (every thing we do is FREE to those that we minister to but it costs us to do it)
(2) Intercessors, Prayer warriors. (We need people to sign up to pray during this week of ministry)
(3) People that want to come be part of the team. 

What is the Mission? We demonstrate God's love through acts of kindness: washing motorcycles, offering prayer, giving bibles, feeding them, brats, ice cream and so much more. These things open the heart to receive SALVATION through Christ Jesus.

When:  August 4th to 10th

Where:  Sturgis, South Dakota during the 77th Black Hills Motorcycle Rally

Purpose:  To reach those that may never hear the Good News of Jesus Christ otherwise.
Greetings and blessings to you. 
We are preparing for our 16th trip to Sturgis, SD to minister the love of Jesus to thousands of motorcyclists. We are in our 25th year of Ministry and the Sturgis outreach always touches thousands of lives. 

This year, we will be washing motorcycles, giving each rider a bible and prayer. We offer prayer, brats, rest, hand massage tables, boot shines, ice cream and gallons and gallons of lemon aide, water and coffee. The riders don't pay a thing for any of this.  It's totally FREE to them.  We won't take donations, won't let them pay, or help.  Just like salvation, it's FREE.  But we do have to raise money to be able to do the outreach.

What is unique about this mission?  People from all over the world converge on this tiny mid-western town and we get to meet many of them right on the black top parking lot of the First Wesleyan Church. We spend the week, along with our team members from many different churches and walks of life, laboring together with one agenda;  To reach the lost with the free gift of Jesus' love.

The main bible verse that we stand on as a team is Romans 5:8, But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:  While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Here again is how YOU can be a part of the team!  "In several ways", 
We need your prayers first of all.  Without prayer, we don't need to be going. We pray for the ministry to be prepared ahead, that God brings the right team members, that hearts are fully committed and prepared.  We need the Power of the  Holy Spirit's leading in every way.

We need finances to be able to do this.  Its a huge expense to do this one outreach more than any we do throughout the year but brings more dividends in reaching the lost than any. Where else can we minister to the world and reach hundreds with salvation, healing, restoration, miracles? Its amazing and new every time we go and we are forever grateful for your help in what ever way you can.

Wanna help as INTERCESSORS?
We are very excited to begin the process of gathering our prayer warriors to be praying each day while we are in Sturgis for the Biker Rally. We do NEED your prayer support this year more than ever. You will be emailed each day August 4th - 11th while we are in Sturgis and called upon to pray as The Lord leads for our team. Also you will be getting emails like this before we go. We will also send any prayer requests before we go for special prayer as they materialize.

We are "Taking The Gospel of Jesus Christ To The Streets"  of the world As Jesus commanded.
Luke 14:23  And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

We have proven that personal witnessing and discipleship bring more people to a "lasting" relationship with Jesus than any other method. It is also more cost effective than mega outreaches.
